We’ve been having a go with ncp on our app and it’s pretty compelling, I can see that for a lot of users being able to get ai agents to use various platforms is convenient and can genuinely save time.
The bit I’m struggling to get my head around is what is involved in becoming an official / approved / legitimate connector / app / thing. I’m not that bothered about being listed in their stores/ directories but I do want to be able to suggest an installation method that doesn’t involve asking users to ignore lots of security warnings.
I’ve so far failed to find clear information on what is actually required and how long it all takes. Would love to hear from anyone who’s got their mcp implementation accepted
