Is a neck massager too practical for Mother’s Day?

I don’t want to get my mom another mug, candle, or bouquet of flowers this year. Those are nice, but I feel like they either don’t last long or end up sitting somewhere unused. My mom usually watches TV to relax in the evening, and sometimes she complains that her neck and shoulders are very tight after a long day. So I'm thinking about whether to give her a neck massager so that she can use it while watching TV at home. The massage and heat therapy might help relieve her fatigue. Part of me thinks it would be useful and thoughtful, but I’m also worried it might feel too practical and not “special” enough for Mother’s Day.Would you consider a neck massager a good Mother’s Day gift, or should I pair it with something more personal like flowers, a card, or a small self care basket?
