No longer interested in marriage
I’m curious to see if there are any guys who lost interest in marriage due to the same or similar reasons to mine.
I always wanted to get married, but during the last year, celibacy has become way more attractive to me than women.
I always see Women on the Muslim side of TikTok and Twitter spouting deviance or disbelief, can’t comment on Reddit because I’m barely on here, but I would imagine it’s the same.
We had the whole "Hijab is a journey" trend nonsense, which then led to other obligations like prayer, fasting, etc.. also being turned into journeys, which then resulted in another trend women created which was "I have no interest in wearing the Hijab" trend, which is flat out apostasy. These type of women have absolutely no backbone, had it been their father or mother telling them to do something, they would do as they’re told and not tell them "it’s a journey", but when it comes to their creator, suddenly it turns into a journey.
We have a huge influx of women rejecting the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, leading other women to do the same. This is also flat out apostasy.
We have a huge influx of women who actually convinced themselves that feminism, a 20th century ideology deep rooted in colonialism and racism to be in complete compatibility with Islam, and funnily enough, they wind up contradicting themselves when they say the Prophet ﷺ was a feminist, even though they reject the very sunnah that somehow leads them to that conclusion (which isn’t true).
Recently, we had women saying there’s no issue calling Allah a "She" and a "her" because we call Allah a "He" and it’s not blasphemous, even though it is.
Now one can say it’s just a few women here and there making that type of content, which isn’t exactly true, but I’ll grant it, for the sake of argument, the real problem, and what I see as very frightening, is the horde of women in comment sections promoting these women, and defending them because that’s being a "girls girl".
No matter what it is, rejecting Hadith, obligations turned into journeys, feminism, whatever deviance or disbelief you can think of, you’ll always find men calling this out, women always defending women, and men get called misogynists.
Taking all this into account, how in the world does a man, who clearly takes the religion seriously going to find a woman who (1) hates these women for the deviance, and disbelief that’s being spouted by them, and (2) She herself does not hold to any of this or any other deviance promoted by mostly or exclusively women?
I could mention many more deviances and disbelief that’s being uttered by women, every week or so, there’s always something new, but I think this should suffice.
This is primarily why I’ve lost in marriage altogether. Does any other man feel the same way to a certain degree?
