Tips for a Guerra to look more Hispanic?

I’m Mexican-American. My grandparents emigrated and I frequently visit Mexico, at least 2-3 times a month. I’m extremely proud of my heritage, and I grew up in a traditional household, so I’m used to my culture and all that. But, I’m one of the guerras of my family. I’m too ethnic to pass as white, but too white to be easily identified as hispanic. People look at me and just pile me in with caucasian mixed with something group.

The only reason people realize I’m Hispanic is when I start speaking in Spanish, or accidentally do something that gives it away like saying, ‘Aguas’ or ‘Salud’, or kiss their cheek when I’m saying bye. I‘m not offended that people don’t assume I’m hispanic, because I am white, but I would like to look a little more hispanic, if that makes any sense.

I don’t wear makeup, so Chicana or “copy and paste” looks aren’t for me. I have fairly light brown hair, with natural blonde and red highlights. My eyes are big and almond-shaped, so I was considering getting wispy cat eye lashes. The only time I’m dark is during sports seasons like cross country or softball, but my tan looks orange in artificial light, and dirt brown in the sun, which is really unpleasant. Any tips? I know ‘hispanic‘ isn’t really a look, aside from stereotypical makeup and clothing styles, but any and all advice is appreciated! :)
