Is my MAG g36c midcap mag screwed?

hi, I bought this midcap earlier today, and when I was trying to put the BBs in, I opened up a really easy-to-open latch at the bottom and the spring and this white rod fell out. I can’t get it back in without ruining the spring, and I can’t find an easy way of taking apart the magazine. should I drive 2 hours to get it fixed?
