researching labor/delivery

hello!

my husband and I are considering starting a family. I'm currently uninsured but his job is offering me coverage but after the deductible everything is 50% coinsurance. I guess what I'm thinking is cash prices may be cheaper than going 50% with what the hospital charges insurance company's.

will probably just go with the insurance and take it one step at a time.

any suggestions on Manhattan based birthing centers. I'm from a very crunchy family and would like aclot of freedom in my birth choices
