Is this great way to find a partner or am I sabotaging myself?
I’ve always been a perfectionist, and for a long time, I struggled to decide who I should pursue seriously. I tend to overthink things, so I decided to approach dating logically.
I wrote down most qualities I care about in a partner. Then, I started ranking and comparing each person I was talking to based on those qualities. I even built an app with an AI assistant to help me rate them fairly.
To me, this system feels simple and keeps me from getting stuck in my own head. My thought process is that this will help me filter through the noise and choose the best partner I can get.
But I’m taking a step back and wondering if I'm missing anything. I want to ask for some outside perspective: what are the downsides to this approach that I might be missing? Is this a solid strategy, or am I totally sabotaging myself?
