how cooked am i?

tldr: rescheduled lots of deliveries, might get fired

so today was super bad at my store, like 4 of our closers called in and all of our pickers left at 7pm. we had one prepper and one dispenser after 7 due to the call ins, we had hella carts not staged like im talking 4pms barely getting staged at 7pm 😭

by 7 we still had like 100 picks left for the day plus exceptions which my team lead made me do by myself since i was the only person left that knew how to pick and exception, i finished the picks and exceptions around 8:15, when i looked at the backroom i saw hella deliveries on red with 50+ minute wait times and 5pm carts that still needed to be staged literally coming out the door into the store.

when i asked the prepper where the team lead was, tell me why he said she left at 8 💀 i go to my store on my phone and looked at all the associates clocked out and sure enough she was gone

this isn’t an unusual occurrence for my team leads to leave at 8 butt you would think that with how busy it was and how backed up we were that she would like.. lead the team 🤷‍♀️

anyway onto the reason for this post

when my team leads aren’t there i’m the one in charge usually so i looked at all the staging we had and all the orders in the queue that were red and looked at how many people i had and decided that there was no way we were going to be able to dispense anything, literally nothing was staged past 5pm, all locations for the orders on the queue were NA and i only had two people with me. i went onto the computer and went to wismo and manually rescheduled every delivery we had from 8pm-12am to 8am tomorrow morning, i told the prepper to just focus on prepping pickups

so umm… how cooked am i 😅
