Do I buy an airbrush or not?

So I've been dead set on getting into airbrushing for a while now, but I've been having some doubts.

Pros:

I could prime and basecoat any colour consistently and easily from the comfort of my room no matter the weather.
I could save time and effort on varnishing.
I could start learning new techniques like zenithal priming and volumetric highlights.

Cons:

It would be costly, in my financial situation 100GBP is a lot to drop on an airbrush and compressor. I could take the more demanding route of brush varnishing multiple models multiple times and save the money.

What should I do?
