[MD] when would an accommodation need to be updated?

Employment Law

there are three people on my team. the director (d), the manager (m), and me (x). the manager is not my manager, we both report to the director. on a call we were talking about an employee event, and i noted if it was at the location they proposed (where there was a shooting last month) i wouldn’t attend out of safety concerns. d knows about my accommodation (filed 2025) but i’ve talked to both of them about ptsd from a shooting and i had a friend shot and killed in feb, which i mentioned was triggering and i was struggling. i mentioned this because usually when something is suggested, we try to anticipate any issues with the venue or any conflicts, and d encourages us to share what comes to mind when they share ideas so they don’t miss anything. essentially m said the shooting (at the mall we were considering for the event) was a while ago and i shouldn’t be scared. i said that wouldn’t change my mind about attending. m said “where do you go when you leave your house? there’s a chance you can get shot anywhere”. i said im very aware of that fact, and where i go isn’t really their business. m said i didn’t need to have an attitude and they were asking a simple question. I said i have an accommodation and im not going to answer the question.(for context we all work in hr together and m handles accommodations for other employees in the org)m was defensively saying “how would i know that” and then was visibly and mad he left the call.

d then continued discussing a project we were working on like nothing happened. eventually we talked about it and d said they just asked a casual question and didnt think m was invasive or crossing any of my boundaries, that’s just how he talks. i said because d knows about my accommodation, they should have intervened when i was visibly uncomfortable and mentioned my accommodation. d said they tried to redirect the conversation but we didnt listen so there was nothing they could do. I said I felt like they should have shut down the conversation earlier they said, “you have PTSD and now you’re telling me to yell?”. i said i didn’t ask you to yell but your intervention was just saying “let’s table this” (which she says when they had no plan of coming back to it). Then d says “maybe we need to update your accommodation because that was before your friend was killed, right?”. i asked what that had to do with my accommodation i’m not asking for any new support? D said “bc you mentioned your friend and your PTSD being triggered by that so maybe we need to update the accommodation”. I said “i have PTSD from a shooting, and we have to update it because my friend was shot?”. D says “i didn’t link those two together and i don’t know if i knew about the other shooting. so i didn’t link your accommodation to your friend”. and then started talking about another part of the call.

Is there a time limit on accommodation paperwork or anything that would force me to update it? or like could it expire?

also, can they write me up for my “attitude”? d has said they think i started the issue with my tone and that what i interpreted as m crossing my boundary was because i was triggered, but d was “there and neutral” and didn’t think m was wrong until m didn’t listen to d re: tabling it. now im scared that they’re gonna try to say im having a performance issue (has always gotten high scores) and terminate me or something. im looking for a new job but its so saturated here ive been applying since november and haven’t even gotten an interview.
