Are my past roles descriptions too verbose and vague or are they fine?
I'm a software developer with about 4.5 years of front end experience and I've been applying for the past 3 months with no success so I'm trying to see if I can improve my CV a little bit, and the only thing that's currently questionable is the description of my previous roles. I'm not sure if the bullet points are too verbose or vague. I think the description for my first role is more vague as I didn't do any overly impressive work back then, mostly bug fixes and the occasional small feature, whereas I was very involved in my second job. This is what I have right now, should I add, remove or shorten anything here:
My latest role 2022 - 2026:
• Served as a key contributor responsible for greenfielding a React Native Telehealth mobile application, designed to reach full parity with and replace existing native Android and iOS applications.
• Showcased expertise in feature implementation through the development of custom, reusable, and accessible UI components.
• Migrated the application’s state management from Context API to Redux, improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implemented and managed the complete migration of authentication services from Firebase to Auth0 in a React Native application, enhancing user login experience and security.
• Implemented comprehensive testing using Jest, achieving 80% test coverage and ensuring high code quality and application stability.
• Facilitated the seamless onboarding of new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth integration into the project.
My first role 2021-2022:
• Developed custom software solutions to meet clients’ specific requirements, delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
• Built responsive and user-friendly web applications using React, Redux, TypeScript, Styled Components, and Ant Design.
• Collaborated with clients to understand business needs and provided technical guidance and support.
• Implemented best practices and coding standards to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Participated actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and overall team performance.
• Demonstrated a proactive and positive attitude, consistently showing strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines
