Hi. I am looking to acquire a mortgage soon. Does anyone have any real estate recommendations? Or general advice?

I currently reside in Humboldt Park. I was thinking of getting within a few miles radius. It would be my first home as well. Though, I am open to living anywhere if the are is nice and the mortgage is within my budget ($2,000). Any advice is appreciated.
