[New Jersey]Is 2C:12-1A(1) same as domestic violence ?

2C:12-1A(1) .Case dismissed and not guilty. But I know the arrest goes on record for life. Is this misdemeanor or is it domestic violence even if its dropped ? Was finger printed. But the case was dismissed for lack of prosecution.
