Should I get a fujifilm TX 30 III

Help

Ive been wanting a camera for my upcoming trip, and I’ve been looking at Fujifilms, specifically the TX 30 III since it’s the most within budget one. I’ve never really quite taken the time to take photos of myself, mostly because I’ve been a bit too self conscious of when family or others are taking it for me, and always kind of regretted not having a lot of good photos of myself. But recently I got a boyfriend and we are traveling together, I kinda thought this would be my one chance to get some good pictures even tho he has no clue what he’s doing. I have an iPhone 15 and an old Leica D-Lux 6, which I’ve tested a few times but didn’t really see results I like, which could totally just be me or the display screen quality, I haven’t had a chance to get the photos out from the camera yet. This setup is probably sufficient for me, but I still want a TX 30 iii

The problem is that it’s still expensive for me, 1200 after tax isn’t exactly nothing. I’m not someone who is super into photography, like when I travel I mostly point and shoot and enjoy the moment, although occasionally I get in mood to take photos of some things I find and put it through Lightroom for fun. I’m an artist so I definitely do appreciate such works but I don’t really have an eye for composition in photography a lot of the times.

So, I’m tryna to debate if I should invest in one for this trip, and then if I find I don’t use it much or don’t enjoy it I’ll resell it. From what I’ve seen on the secondhand market fujifilms keep their value mostly. Is it worth it?
