year 11 subject changes?
Ok so I’m in yr 11 doing 3/4 CSL and englang, chem, bio, methods and psychology. Im chronically ill and lowkey struggling so much at the moment that my coordinators have advised either dropping one subject or swapping into easier ones. The thing is that Im not doing bad in my classes, it’s physically being at school that’s the problem, hence why either dropping a subject or swapping into somewhat easier ones are the better option.
I feel like the problem is that I have a passion for medicine so ideally i get into that undergrad but I’ve lowkey lost a lot of faith and will probably end up doing postgrad but I’m not sure if I should go through nursing or science because I feel like I have a passion for both but then I want to alleviate my subjects and schedule if that’s the case if you know what I mean?
I’m thinking of swapping into general english rather than englang because the meta language is so hard to keep up with and feels so exhausting. The main thing is that I can’t rly drop methods or chem because of prerequisites but I’m also not doing bad in them and enjoy them so i feel like that’s ok. Then that leaves me with psych or bio to choose from dropping. I’m doing so much better in psych but I feel like bio would be a better option if i’m aiming for med but i absolutely CANNOT stand my teacher like she makes me hate the subject so I dont know what to do
I’m thinking about maybe even taking bio/psych online or dropping one of the two to do extended investigation which i’d als be super interested in or keeping bio and dropping psych to do health sciences at latrobe as a hes. or even like doing gen maths instead of one of psych/bio because i enjoy maths a lot and wouldn’t have doing that
Honestly i am just so indecisive and have no idea what to do so. if anyone can help out then it would be so greatly appreciated!
