How to get a cat used to a new place?

I'm moving to my own place and I'm taking my cat with me, my cat is super attached to me and I don't want to leave her alone with my parents, as I know she gets uneasy when she doesn't see me, but I don't know how she'll feel about the new place, what are the basics in what I should do to get her used to her new home?
