Got the job, booked the flight, now I need a place to sleep. July move-in, $2,000–$2,500

Hey! throwing my shot into the void here.

My name is Sam, 26, relocating from Irvine, CA to NYC for a new job in tech sales starting June 10th. Crashing with a friend in June while I get settled, looking at early to mid-July move-in.

About me: clean, easy to live with, not home much. I work long hours and when I’m not working I’m watching sports, playing poker, or exploring the city. Not throwing parties. Not leaving dishes in the sink. Just a normal guy who pays on time and respects shared spaces.

I’ll be upfront. credit isn’t perfect, but I have a $75k base salary plus commission, and I’m happy to provide an offer letter and bank statements to show stable income. No drama, just looking for a good situation.

Budget: $2,000–$2,500/month

Move-in: Early to mid-July

Areas I’m looking at: Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Astoria, Long Island City, Murray Hill, Jersey City, Hoboken as I’m pretty open as long as the commute to Midtown is reasonable
