Lore Related Question [Spoiler: 7.5]

Spoiler[Discussion]

!!<Bit confused on this part, and obviously we don't have all the answers, but that never stops one from wondering, right?

So, currently the "Ethos Key" seems to interact in full with Azem's Crystal as demonstrated by Patch 7.5, created a path unseen only visible to the bearer of the key. Why would Azem have created such a device that currently seems to activate in the presence of the crystal that was created by Emet Selch in secret Post-Sundering? The crystal does have the signature magic that summons allies to their side, but why would Azem have created a device that traverses reflections when there were no reflections for them to have traveled to? With a crystal that was created after the Sundering. I think an incredibly powerful precognition is the most popular theory, and it seems as if Azem is speaking directly to the WOL in the memories. But the theory of ourorobos is becoming more and more possible in my mind, though obviously not solidified as we still have an entire expansion, and many more to go.

Maybe I am just looking for a more compelling (to me) and complicated answer than meta precognition. Given the motivations of the Warrior of Light and the Scions theme of "For those we can yet save", would it be beyond their motivations to not consider saving the Pre-Sundered world from The Final Days? (Not in the actual game story, that appears to be quite closed to us.) I supposed it baffles me for Azem to have such blind faith in the WOL to leave them to their devices, but that does rather seem like their nature. Or could that laidback nature regarding such pivotal moments in history be the result of knowledge gained not from the future, but from the past?

Please feel free to rip my thoughts apart, there are surely much more intelligent people out there that are far more dialed into the lore and timeline than I am. >!!<
