Wanting to start a small food business at home

Hey everyone I just moved here and would like some advice on selling food. I want to sell Korean fried chicken but don’t know for sure the specific laws. Searching it up on google says I can’t make food unless I have my own place specifically for making food and health inspectors have to see it, yet I see people advertising their home cooked meals on Facebook marketplace. Im trying to do the same but not get arrested or fined by the city. Any advice?

Yes I’ve cooked KFC before and have made it for a bunch of people at a bunch of events. Everyone seemed to love it haha and they’ve always suggested for me to start selling them so they can have more 😂
