Why would a doctor do that?

I (34F) have major depressive disorder. Just went to a new doctor. I tell her Im having panic attacks, have trouble getting out of bed alot of days, have missed work due to mental health issues, worried about losing or messing up job, etc. She gives me 2 mg of Abilify. TWO. No antidepressant. I see her in a week and a half, been on it for about a weeks, about to stop taking this poison. I feel awful. Why wouldn't she give me an antidepressant in addition? Why such a low dose of the garbage I have now? Do I have to try to jump out the window of her office to be taken seriously? Because I'm about to.
