**Company:** Palantir Technologies Inc.
**Ticker:** PLTR

**Report Date:** **May 4, 2026, after market close.**

**📊 Wall Street Expectations (Q1 2026)**

**Estimated EPS:** about **$0.28 to $0.30**.
**Estimated Revenue:** about **$1.52B to $1.55B**.
Consensus reflects continued very strong growth, with revenue expected to rise sharply year over year driven by U.S. commercial AI adoption and government contracts.

**📈 Key Things Traders Are Watching**

**U.S. commercial growth (AIP adoption engine)**
This is the main driver. Growth in the U.S. commercial segment has been accelerating on the back of AIP deployments. The key question for Q1 is whether that acceleration is still intact or starting to normalize after a strong run.

**AI platform monetization (AIP conversion quality)**
This is the core narrative. Investors are watching not just interest in AI, but how many pilots convert into large, repeatable enterprise contracts and whether deal sizes continue expanding.

**Government contracts (stability + visibility)**
Government remains a large, stable base of revenue. Q1 will be judged on whether this segment continues steady mid-to-high growth and offsets volatility elsewhere.

**Revenue growth durability (high expectations risk)**
Growth expectations are now extremely elevated (70%+ year-over-year range in recent estimates). The key risk is not absolute growth, but whether momentum begins to decelerate.

**Operating margins and profitability quality**
Margins have improved significantly. The question is whether Palantir can maintain high operating leverage while continuing to invest heavily in AI expansion.

**Customer expansion and deal scaling**
Investors track not just new customers, but expansion within existing accounts—especially whether large enterprises are scaling usage across departments.

**Stock-based compensation (dilution sensitivity)**
Still a focus point. Even with strong profitability, SBC levels are watched closely for dilution pressure relative to growth.

**Guidance and AI demand commentary**
This is usually the most important driver. The stock tends to react more to forward commentary on AI demand, pipeline strength, and growth outlook than the reported quarter itself.

**Last quarter for context**
In **Q4 2025**, Palantir reported about **$1.41B in revenue**, **EPS of $0.25**, and strong growth (\~70% YoY revenue), with continued acceleration in U.S. commercial AI demand.

**My read:**
For **PLTR**, this is a **U.S. commercial AI acceleration vs. normalization** story first and a **margin durability** story second. If results come in near expectations but show AIP demand is still compounding, commercial growth remains strong, and margins hold up, that is more important than a small EPS beat or miss.
