Is there a way to make Pipsqueak not be as bad?

It either never shuts up, and is so cliche it ruins everything. Or it's never saying any dialogue. And now that they removed EVERY other chat style (Yes, I checked that weird sub menu. The only thing left is Soft Launch). I'm stuck with it. Any tips?
