We just shipped an AR SDK. Same tech that powers our app, now drop-in for iOS & Android.
Hey everyone,
We're Vizbl. We've been running an AR app for a while now — the kind where you can place 3D products in your room, walk around them, see how they fit. It's been our main thing.
A bunch of devs kept asking if they could put the same AR experience inside their own apps instead of sending users to ours. So we packaged it up. Today we're launching Vizbl SDK — the same tech that powers our app, now available as a native SDK for iOS and Android.
How it works in plain English:
- You upload a 3D model to connect.vizbl.com, get an object ID
- Pass that object ID into the AR call in your app
- Your users are placing products in AR
The thing I'm proud of: each object knows its own surface. So a sofa can't end up on a wall, a poster can't end up on the floor. The SDK enforces it at runtime instead of leaving it to whoever integrates it.
We also handle hosting and delivery — you upload once, we compress, generate LODs, stream from the closest edge. Swap a model later and every installed app gets the new version without an app rebuild or store review.
It's currently in early access — free, no usage limits. We just want feedback from people actually building things.

If anyone tries it and has notes — DX feedback, missing features, things that broke — would genuinely love to hear it. Roast away.
