My organisation has recently announced redundancies. The redundancy period is over, and I have not been impacted, however, it still lives in the back of my head.

I work in healthcare where a significant part of my job is sales. I don't organise appointments, but I do the heavy lifting of sales. Most of the metrics used to measure my role are conversions into sales. I work in a two person centre, where I have worked for one year, and the other person 7+.

The distribution of revenue generating appointments is heavily weighed towards the other person. The distribution of non-revenue generating appointments is more weighted towards me. I have so few appointments that one less conversion or sale impacts my metrics heavily. I bought this up with my manager who said she would do something about it (I have the evidence from my performance review three months ago, however, since then and since the redundancies were announced, my revenue generating appointment allocation has declined more.

I have tracked appointments between myself and the other person since august last year and divided them into all time, before redundancy, before performance review, and after redundancy/performance review. There is clear evidence that I am getting less revenue generating appointments that range between 1.5 times to 3 times less than the other clinician. My concern is that this is going to be used as a reason to make my position redundant, or as a way to show I am less effective at my job compared with my colleague, given the role is boiled down to metrics at the end of it.

Additionally, the person who books the appointments said to me that it is unfair on the other person if I get more appointments, which for me is kinda fucked. As an example, for next week she already has 13 of the main revenue generating appointments and I have 1. So it is progressively getting worse over time.

What are some potential outcomes here?? If my job is made redundant what are my options?? If it is made redundant, but they don't make it a point to state that my metrics are the cause, what do I do?? What information needs to be provided to me by them?? This is a bit nuanced and the internet isn't a great help because it seems a case could be made out of anything. Som real world info would be great.

Thank you!!
