How far does the affinis power extend

I'm curious, I've heard that they can digitally transfer florets consciousness into a computer so they may out live their body. With that kind of tech, could they bring back a dead person? If a terran was going through alot and took their own life, is there at any threshold in which an affini could save them? Or is death still a permanent factor at play?
