Would this be a good Bluetooth adapter?

I recently was gifted skullcandy 360 method Bluetooth earbuds and wanted to use them with my Xbox series X. A co-worker suggested this controller adapter to me. He claims he uses it and it works really well it's relatively cheap and said you simply plug it into the bottom of the controller and it should work.

Has anyone else had any success with it? I absolutely hate audio lag will that be an issue?
