How to make whole foods more appealing?

Advice: Seeking ❓

I need to lose around 30 pounds, and more importantly I want to live longer and help combat my health anxiety. I’ve been eating poorly lately (and overeating), and I’m sick of myself. My health anxiety is coming back again, and historically it does so when I’m not treating my body right, so I need to make a change.

I feel like a chicken finger and fries adult when by asking this, but I want to know how to make heathy eating more enjoyable for myself.

I grew up eating a lot of organic food and whole foods AND a lot of junk, and that’s pretty much remained the case to this day. Like I’ll eat eggs and fruit and veggies and beans and salad but then I’ll also eat like a brownie and ice cream and potato chips. You get the gist.

I know that still occasionally eating the less healthy foods is important, but I can’t be doing this daily and reach my goals. Relying on my discipline (which is much stronger when it comes to everything except for freaking food) has yet to work, so I am hoping there’s a reframe or tricks to get myself to eat almost all whole/healthy foods.
