Im confused

I dont which side is right, or if its a bit of both. That being the progression of Michael's voice and performances.

I here some people agree that his voice got better, with the raspy and lower voice. Same thing with his dancing.

On the opposite, I here his voice got worse and his raspy and lower voice was apparently "fabricated" with editing in the studio. That his dancing got sloppy as the years went on.

Which side is right?
