The Timebreaker (vanilla)

aka when you wanna be Quicksilver

Race: Breton, for that sweet 25% magic resistance

Level-ups: Health 100%. Where we're going we won't need magicka and stamina is useless when vegetable soup exists

Skills (perks):
- one-handed (armsman 5/5, dual flurry 2/2, dual savagery, fighting stance, savage strike, (optional) critical charge)
- light armor (agile defender 1/5, custom fit)
- alteration (novice/apprentice/adept/expert alteration, magic resistance 3/3, stability, atronach)
- enchanting (enchanter 5/5, insightful enchanter, corpus enchanter, extra effect)
- smithing (steel/dwarven/orcish/ebony smithing, arcane blacksmith, (optional) elven smithing, advanced armors)
- archery (overdraw 5/5, eagle eye, power shot, quick shot)

Important Items:
- Zephyr or Auriel's Bow, your choice. We're here for the fast draw speed, we don't need as much base damage or fancy enchants.
- The Savior's Hide
- Amulet of Talos
- The Black Star
- (optional) Black Book: The Sallow Regent, to boost your skills (especially crafting) by another 10%
- (optional) Dunmer Shoes, for an extra item to enchant with fortify smithing

Items to make yourself:
- vegetable soup, lots of it
- any sword with paralysis (1 sec) and shock damage, this is your left hand weapon
- any war axe with soul trap (1 sec) and shock damage, this is your right hand weapon
- any light armor helmet with fortify archery and [dealer's choice] (I went with water breathing)
- any light armor gauntlets and any ring with fortify archery and fortify one-handed
- any light armor boots with fortify one-handed and [dealer's choice] (I went with muffle)

Standing Stone: early on go with whatever lets you level fastest. Endgame: Atronach

Blessing: early on: any; Kynareth, Arkay, or Azura are all useful. Endgame: Talos, we will be Shouting a LOT

Shouts: early on you can use just one word of Elemental Fury with an unenchanted weapon in your left hand for a massive attack speed boost. Eventually you will want all words of Dragon Aspect and Slow Time.

Quests to Definitely Complete:
- The Book of Love, for that sweet 15% magic resistance
- Ill Met By Moonlight, for The Savior's Hide and another 15% magic resistance
- The Black Star, for the titular item to keep your weapons charged
- The Civil War questline at least up to The Jagged Crown, for a word of Slow Time
- The College of Winterhold questline, for another word of Slow Time
- (optional) Unfathomable Depths, for 15% better smithing results and 25% better armor rating
- (optional) Served Cold, so that you own Severinn Manor for all your crafting and Sallow-Regent-power-switching needs

Early game swing by Mount Kilkreath and grab the word of Elemental Fury behind Meridia's Temple. Use an unenchanted sword in your left hand for the speed boost. Whenever you feel like grinding your alteration feel free to use the mage light exploit outside the Solitude gate.

When you get everything going, you are supremely powerful. You can easily hit the armor cap with all the smithing boosts and 4-5 pieces of fortify smithing gear, even with only the two perks in Light Armor. If you've been counting, we hit the 85% magic resistance cap as well as having permanent 80% absorb magic. By using Dragon Aspect first, your Slow Time will reach something like 36 seconds of uptime followed by like 2 seconds before you can Shout again. Chug some vegetable soup and blender your way through everything in your path. Pull out the bow and machine gun arrows at anything in the air or difficult-to-reach spots.

Why the sword and not a dagger? because I like having the same reach on both my weapons and not accidentally whiffing half my swings. Why the waraxe and not a mace? It might just have been me, but the decapitation moves never seem to trigger with sword+mace.

Why Critical Charge? Because it's fun.

Why Advanced Armors? Because I think scaled armor looks better when worn alongside The Savior's Hide than stalhrim light does.
