Are there still new people getting into this game?

I wonder if this game still gets new players nowadays. Back when I was little, around 2014 and 2015, it was the most popular mobile game ever. But phones are way more powerful now, and there are so many more games to choose from. Don’t kids prefer Roblox these days anyway?

Also, I think new players struggle to stick with it. One piece of gear costs 1,500 gems, and you still have to upgrade it. Isn’t that really unfriendly to newcomers?
