Selling car. Advice.

So I am selling my car. Haven't done this before. What would be the best way to go about it ?

I am thinking of selling on CarSales to avoid scammers. But have some questions:

- How do you go about giving test rides ? I guess you would want to meet in a public place to keep your address private ? Take photograph of license.. Anything else ?

- How does the transaction happen. I believe once you see the money in your account I can submit the notice of disposal online. Is that it ?

- Thinking of getting the car a bit of detailing. Also, there's a small dent in the car, should I get it fixed($1200) or just adjust the price accordingly?

- Anything else I should keep in mind ?
