Old sub era

I got into subs very recently and absolutely love the community here and on YouTube. However, I'd like to ask old sub users using subs for a long time like 4-5 years ago what the sub community on YouTube actually looked like.

Who used to reign youtube? was moza always considered unsafe? did creators frequently get into dramas as they do now? what don't you like about the sub community now?
