How do you guys clear out the area where you want to base in without zeds breaking doors and windows of said base?

I tried everything sneaking and luring by small groups being extra careful going loud sirens and firecrackers everytime zombies would be able to break doors and windows of the place I want to base at and I’m going insane the problem isn’t killing them I can kill them fuckers but someway somehow a door or window will be broken I just want a base with original doors attached please for the love of god do I have to turn off zombies? But then what? I’m playing project then fucking project sims
