My wife and I split for the night. She went to read I went to game. Booted up Saros towards the end of Act 2 where you have to reach the beacon. I wasn't quite ready so I thought I would just warm up running out and getting some materials. This turned into \*the\* run.

I figured I'd clear the first couple of biomes based on where I was at. I ended up almost doing both no hit. Then 3. Then 4. By this point I'm way over scaled and nearly beat Legion hitless too.

I just kept going. I hadn't died. My artifacts were maxed. I had a god tier crossbow. I had already beat Architect and I don't think you have to do that again so I went onto Acolytes Haven. I realized after I got to the spot I couldn't get to before on entering this was new territory. Everything was sight read from now on. I got to Shepherd and almost had my first death but got a barrage of prominence shots to finish her off.

I almost just went back to base at that point. But at this point I had to just see this through. Cathedral was very interesting. Can't wait to go back. I read everything instinctually kept rolling good crossbows and watched the stats climb. Priestess was a tough encounter at first sight. I figured out the mechanic quickly and got to phase 3 pretty easily but I had taken a lot of damage. Getting her vulnerable for the final barrage I took my first death. Second chance kicked in and I held my illuminance to win that fight as well. Then all the cutscenes that followed svf and everything that happened at base.

A 3-hour run. What started as a warm up run ended up being \*the\* run. I'm going back stronger now to explore those biomes again and get some halycron. I need so much now after getting two full tires done in the skill tree.

Onto the Yellow Shore to ascend. It calls.

Cleared Act 2 in one sitting on accident.
