I dropped my betta

I literally just dropped him I was going to acclimate him bc he sick so it was emergency to get into hopisitak tank bc I just got him from petco he was so sad and I had to get him and he fell right on the carpet I immediately just threw him to the tank and I feel like I’m going to cry he’s just like hiding and looking like he’s having a hard time swimming did I kill jom?
