CCU game

Hi everyone! I have a few questions in general about ccu and how to be smart with it. As spending money on ships this seems to be a way of saving some of the hard earned money. I have a bit of passive income every month that I can put aside and I am not in hurry to purchase anything as soon as possible, because it is not urgent and have time to think about what I really want to buy. As right now I only have starter ships in my hangar, some 220ish credit. To start my chain I have a spare UTV and Aurora mk2. Is it worth to wait for certain ccus to come up on RSI website or just buy it here on Reddit? is it usually cheaper here? Also what is better if I buy credit from someone here potentially for 50-60% and save money that way, and use that credit to buy ccus on RSI website obviously not the warbond because I would use this credit. What about the upcoming event? Can I expect lots of ccus and good prices? Is it worth to wait? Any advice appreciated! Thx
