Finally bit the bullet and got a CPAP. How long it takes to get used it

I was recommended to do a sleep study almost two years ago by my physician after feeling constantly tired and sleepy during the day. Fast forward I got a sleep study and got diagnosed with sleep apnea. Got prescribed an APAP with pressure setting range and all... I got the machine two days ago, I unpacked everything and watched the videos. Looks like I have everything right but woke up with a sore throat and a cough. I have a heated tube that I set to 80F and humidity to 5 ( a middle level setting on restmed air sense 11 auto). Asked Gemini for the cough and it said that it can happen for the first time. Anyone with a similar experience? The machine is brand new and these come sterile so I am not expecting to get an infection from it neither do I think I got an infection from anything else since I don't even remember the last time I got sick even peak covid didn't get me.
