27M in Montreal – Sunni background, just looking to connect

I’m 27M, based in Montreal, Canada. I come from a Sunni background but I’ve been pretty removed from religion for a while now. I’d describe myself as pretty chill, open-minded, and easygoing.

I’m not sure if there’s a specific community for ex-Muslims in Canada (or even Montreal), which is why I thought I’d reach out here and see who’s around.

I was wondering if there are people here in Canada, or even better, in Montreal, who’d be down to connect. I’m mainly looking for friends, but if the right person comes along, I’m not opposed to something more serious down the line.

I’m into psychology, true crime, and just understanding how people think. I recently moved here, so I’d honestly love some company to explore the city, try new activities, and make the most of the summer.
