So that one day I can point and tell you that I saw it coming

TW: Child Neglect, Abuse, Assault, more

I'll update this when new things happen but for now, here's what you need to know.

  1. I am 18 and I live in a double wide mobile home with my Mother and two half brothers who are 12, turning 13 in June. We will call them Luke and Kyle.
  2. No, you cannot do anything for me/us. DCFS has been involved several times. Kyle has been taken to the hospital for mental reasons several times. You. Can. Not. Help. Us.
  3. Don't track me down. Don't try to find me. Just read what I'm saying and understand that I don't expect things to end up alright.
  4. While I may later make a post about my hell in general, this post in particular is about Kyle.
  5. Don't tell me I'm wrong about what I think. It's what I think. This isn't so you can comfort me. This isn't so you can give me recourses but I'll accept them anyways.
  6. Don't tell me he's too young to understand. Don't tell me that's just what siblings do. No he's not. No they don't.
  7. Kyle and Luke has ADHD and Autism. They indivisually have more issues I don't feel like I should write here other than Luke has aniexty and I suspect Kyle may be a sociopath.

Most lately thing, Kyle has very heavily mentally regressed. I don't know why. I don't know what caused it. He was doing so good but he's suddenly back-peddled.

For over a week, at most two, I was being woken up extremely early in the morning, almost every day, at 4am to 6am. It starts while I'm asleep. Kyle gets a devilish smile and starts bullying Luke. Just picking on him and pushing his buttons. Doing things to purposely bug him. Sure. You can say that's normal sibling things. What's not normal is when Kyle tries to get close to Luke when look is clearly telling him to stop and leave him alone. What's not normal is Kyle trying to run at Luke while Mom tries to hold Kyle back. Just to freak out Luke. Just to make Luke upset. Nothing tiggers Kyle to start acting like this. It can be a calm morning and Kyle will still choose to do these things to Luke. Throw things, curse at him, call him foul names, dump food on the floor, try to hit Luke, and more.

During this week, after Kyle had started, at some point Luke would get so worried for his safety or so overwhelmed or just generally extremely distressed. He rushes to my room and quickly tries to slam the door shut. Sometimes he gets in my room in time. Sometimes he doesn't and ends up having to force the door closed, using his entire body weight to close the door. And then he locks it.

From the other side of the door, Kyle is screaming and yelling and laughing. He's pounding on the door and shouting things at Luke. It got worse every day. And then Thursday last week, Luke broke. When he went through everything again with Kyle, this time he told me he wanted to end it. He was crying, shaking, hiccuping. He meant it. He felt it. This is too much. I went out and told Mom that Kyle needed to go. I don't know where but he needed to leave. To his father's, to the hospital for a mental assessement, somewhere, anywhere other than here. She finally listened. But Kyle's smart. By the time the ambulence got here, he was already acting well again, like nothing happened. Like he didn't push his own twin brother to the edge of life just 10 minutes ago. When in the ER for assessment, they didn't even talk to Mom. They just sent him to the waiting room and told Mom there was nothing to be done.

I would have normally never share this type of information to the public. But I'm not keeping shut about this anymore. He's going to be a serial killer one day. And when it happens, I will cry for whoever was unfortanate enough to be bloodied by his hands. I will cry for their family. I will not be surprised. I will support Luke and probably even offer for him to move in.

Kyle dug up my dead pets from the yard several times throughout the years. He's had several head injuries throughout the years. He does not care for people around, only about having what he wants because he wants it. He has been cruel to animals on several occasions, to my own pets, to neighbor dogs, to family pets. He has thrown a knife at me. He has thrown several things, from small things like pencils to huge things like entire dining room tables, simply because he was told no. He knows how to manipulate people and has several times. He's very smart, he knows how to abuse the system, like acting calm in front of paramedics so he doesn't get admitted to the hospital, or acting nice in the hospital so he gets home sooner, but then immediantly acting the same when he gets home. Despite abusing our mother, he's extremely dependent on her. And she falls into it. She wants to be a good mother. He has a rocky relationship with both of his parents. His father has been abusive in the past.

I do not expect Kyle to be a normal person, ever. No, I don't think that if all of these things happened, the head injuries, the abuse from his dad, that it will make a murderer or a serial killer. For example, Luke. Luke was always by Kyle's side. They're twins. That's just kind of how they've always been. Luke has had head injuries, he wasn't always the kindest with animals, he's threatened us several times. But Luke, unlike Kyle, is a good kid. Luke cares. Luke makes an effort. Luke has gotten so much better. Luke does not deserve this. Luke can grow. I believe that one day he could have a home, a job, and wife/husband, and kids, just like he wants. I don't think Kyle ever will. I don't think Kyle cares. I don't think he ever will.

When there's a podcast talking about my little brother, talking about something he's done, just shout me out, yeah? Shout out to me trying to get help and speak out to all of the people and recourses we have been given, and them not listening or them not taking it seriously. And if he ends up killing Luke, know that I had a nightmare about it first. If he kills me, point and laugh about how I was wrong in thinking he was not ballsy enough to even try anything with me. If he kills Mom, hope that my brother Luke gets the support he needs and deserves. If he kills someone else, I'm sorry that I couldn't do more to stop him. If he kills a child, I will not batt an eye if a parent tries to take revenge. I knew it. I said it. I warned you. I warned them. And I'm sorry.
