Do I need to dye the trim pieces?

I don’t have any pictures on hand but I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado RST Z71 that is white and I just did a 2 step paint correction and ceramic coating but when I pulled the tape off of the trim pieces I realized that a lot of the black trim pieces now have polish residue on them and seem to be dyed white… how do I fix this and what is the best thing to do right now?
