Local Events on Google

I host wellness events as my main source of income. Eventbrite is where I host them and theyve had incredible SEO or Google ads because I never had to promote my events for them to sell out (small capacity plus niche in demand experience). However, Bending Spoons has acquired Eventbrite and my ticket sales have plummeted. Previously, when people would Google Sound Baths in my particular city, my eventbrite listings would be the top result. I tested it today and I’m nowhere to be found. What is ranking really high are the events listed on companies Google business profiles. I must have missed the memo about this being the new thing. Curious if anyone has insight—is listing events on Google business profiles the way go right now? Is Google focusing on highlighting this feature?
