Feeling extremely low

M 34, Working in IT company. I consider myself emotionally very weak. A recent incident in the office has broken me badly.

I have been working in the same organisation for 8 years, in my project very few are from the North.

Everyday I come across some or other kind of favouritism or biasness. Recently some good opportunities came within the team, when I asked my lead if he could consider me for the same as i have done similar certifications,

don't know what he conveyed to the manager, without any discussion with me the manager sent an email that your career alignment is not matching here and we are releasing you. and in the same email blamed me for some office politics.

This has shaken me from inside. I have not done anything wrong. Don't feel like working anywhere now.
