Has this happened to anyone else? (City Perfume Merrylands)

I just went into City Perfume at Merrylands, Sydney. First time going as they are the only place I’ve ever found that physically stocks d’Annam. I tested one and one of the shop assistants runs over and tells me I’m not allowed to spray any of the testers. He has to do it. Then he walks away.
There are tester bottles and testing sticks everywhere. I watched 3 other guys happily test things. It was so weird and rude, I left. What’s the go with this place? Worst customer service.
