I [20M] am uncomfortable with someone my girlfriend [21F] kissed in the past coming to our home.
My girlfriend [21F] and I [20M] have been together for a while and we currently live with her mom because we’re focused on saving money and raising our daughter together.
Recently, someone my girlfriend kissed in the past got back in contact through her mom. Apparently her mom had been talking to him, and now he wants to come over to the house tomorrow. Her mom told him he could come by since they are close and is hers sons best friend. (Her son doesn’t live here)
This makes me really uncomfortable because this is where we live and where our daughter is. I told my girlfriend I don’t like the idea of someone she has history with coming over like that. She says she’s not even planning to see him and that I’m making too much of it. She also said she’s kissed a lot of people before, so it shouldn’t matter.
I’m not trying to be controlling or insecure, but I feel like it’s reasonable to not want someone with that kind of history around our home, especially with our daughter there too. At the same time, both my girlfriend and her mom are acting like I’m overreacting, and now I’m questioning myself. I mean it’s her mom’s house so I mean, do I even have a say?
