Scaler college Syllabus along with Online Degree Syllabus

i am the parent of a class 11 student who is genuinely curious about the rise of the newgen colleges like scaler.

From my basic research Scalar wants students to study the entire academic syllabus of the online degree course of iitm or bits along with the respective University exams and then also parallely train for all the new-gen technologies the students needs to study like fullstack , ai,ml etc...which scaler will teach.

My question is won't this approach of studying 2 courses parallely creates unwanted pressure on the kids ?

How is this any different from sending my son to a regular engineering college for cse branch and then let him do evening and weekend tech courses from some software training institutes ? Won't we achieve the same results at the end and on top of that student could get a regular btech degree unlike the online degrees offered by scaler.

Kindly help me understand this.

Thanks a lot for your time.
