Red card question

I’m a relatively new dasher (around 80 total deliveries) and I’ve declined every possible “red card required“ order because I don’t know exactly how it works. I get that you have to shop and pay for the items using it, but is having the card active in my Apple wallet good enough? I do have it active in there, but I never received a physical card and thus don’t have a pin or anything like that. any info or tips would be much appreciated!

mainly want to know if just having a digital version in my Apple wallet is good enough or not.. I don’t want to get caught with my pants down.. I get offered deliveries constantly that are really well paying with few items, and short drives, but I’ve always just been too scared to accept them due to lack of experience/ not having an actual physical card.
