Questions and help

Hi, I’m new to any kind of modding.
I habe this 2ds (wich I don’t even know if you can mod). It was the one I used in mu childhood It’s one of those that don’t fold (like every other I’ve seen pretty much) and It’s got both screens broken and I’m thinking of fixing them.
Would it be worth it? I want to mod it completely but everthing I’ve seen id for 3ds consoles.
