People constantly ask me if I work here in shops

It happens every time in fashion stores, and a few days ago even in an electronic shop. My friends think it's crazy when they are with me, this never happen to them.

I always tell myself : "ok next time I say yes and try my best to help them", but when it's time I don't have the balls to take on the role and simply say "I'm sorry no". I think I'm afraid it would come as disrespectful to the real people who work here.

I think it may be a sign because I would like to work in a fashion store but I have an entirely different career. Or else I have no idea why, I'm a very basic and unnoticeable person
