Should I skip university after intermediate and go for IT courses instead?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in 2nd year (intermediate) and trying to decide my future path.

Instead of going to university, I’m thinking about learning a specific IT skill (like web development, graphic design, or digital marketing) through short courses or diplomas, and then starting a job or freelancing.

My goal is to start earning as early as possible.

I wanted to ask:

• Is this a realistic path in Pakistan?
• Do companies hire people without degrees if they have strong skills?
• Which IT skills are most in demand right now?
• Which cities (Multan, Lahore, Islamabad) have better opportunities for this?
• If anyone has done this, what was your experience like?

I’d really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve actually been through this.

Thanks!
