CMV: as a minority I don't have a reason to care about the "birth crisis" in the 1st world
To clarify, I am an asian living in europe. Just so you know that 1) I am not specifically talking about the USA and 2) I am aware asians are generally more accepted than others, but at the end of the day I am a minority too. And I'm also not a native speaker, so don't expect me to have the best grammar. Sorry.
So to cut to the chase, I believe that as a minority, or asian person, I have no reason to care about the "1st world birth crisis" or to be precise "white birth crisis". Because the way I see it, the people who fearmonger about it really only care about the white population, and consider non-white people as threats even if they're integrated.
While it is true that a lot minorities do refure to integrate and that is the problem, but the thing is is that to these people even integrated minorities are threats, since they often talk about a world where "whites don't exist" as a nightmare. Now I am not going to be a hypocrite, if I knew that in the future "asians" died out, I'd probably feel bad about it but unless it was due to genocide, I think it's a perfectly normal thing that happens throughout history.
Not to mention that a lot of people look very different from the people that lived in the same place hundreds of years, so i don't see how the future generation looking different is a threat.
The reason why I want this view changed, is that I wonder if there's a legitimate reason why a minority like I am should care about an opinion that is mostly used against people like me.
